REACT® (Rapid Engage And Close-quarters Tactics)
This 5-day program has recently been adopted by U.S. Special Operations Forces. Instruction is based on combat proven close-quarters handgun techniques, together with the unarmed combat, weapons disarming, and weapon retention techniques of the Russian Special Forces (Spetsnaz). Instructors include: U.S. Army Special Forces Sergeant Major (ret.) and World Combat Pistol Champion, John A. Anderson; John Giduck, Russian Special Forces Hand-To-Hand Combat Expert, and Instructor at the International Anti-Terror School; Russian Spetsnaz veterans; and other military and law enforcement instructors. This is the only combat proven, fully integrated close-quarters hand-to-hand combat/firearms course available, and designed specifically for special operations.
Special Operations Advanced Small Unit Tactics for Law Enforcement
In the modern anti-terror realm, and even the evolving criminal element, increasingly police must be able to function like military and special operations military units are forced to function like police. This program presents the critical close-quarter skills necessary for small units to be able to meet the demands of both. Small unit configurations, close-quarters firearms and cold weapons techniques, building and room clearing, immediate action tactics, prisoner securing, immediate medical care and evacuation, and hand-to-hand combat are all critical skills essential for any team to survive in this environment.
Special Anti-Terror Tactical Training Camp
This 4-day camp features instruction on Special Forces small unit tactics, tracking, hand-to-hand combat, knife and shovel fighting, night operations, reconnaissance skills, immediate action drills, weapons retention, terrorist-hostage negotiations, and combat handgun capability. The Instructors include U.S. Army Special Forces Sergeant Major (ret.) and World Combat Pistol Champion, John A. Anderson; John Giduck, Russian Special Forces Hand-To-Hand Combat Expert, and Instructor at the International Anti-Terror School; Mike Rich, Russian Spetsnaz Hand-to-Hand Combat Master Instructor; and Russian Spetsnaz Veterans. They relay decades of practical experience from U.S., British, and Russian Special Forces, and address the current trends in terrorist and criminal activity dictating the need for this real and comprehensive training. Meals and lodging are provided at the camp. Each participant must bring a handgun and 300 rounds of ammunition.
Tactical Diving for SWAT
Many police jurisdictions and military areas of operation have large bodies of water, or maritime avenues of ingress, with little to no tactical ability to conduct maritime operations. Those that have prepared for maritime operations have largely limited themselves to surface approaches, with no knowledge of, or capability for, counter-terror operations underwater. This UW ability is crucial to the prevention, detection of, and response to, both terrorist and organized crime/drug cartel operations. This course teaches the most tactically effective surface approach methods, targets, UW weapons, small unit tactics in the UW environment for both offensive and defensive operations, and close quarters battle in this realm. This course is based on the training and operations of the Russian and Soviet SEAL and anti-SEAL units called Delfins and PDSS, who trained many of the terrorist groups in operation today, as well as the U.S. Navy's Red Cell and SEAL Six teams. Likely terror targets, methods of attack, how to create an effective anti-terror team, and both prevent and respond to UW terror attacks is covered. All course participants must have their own scuba equipment, weapons, and be a certified recreational diver with a recognized organization.
Executive Protection
Many law enforcement and military veterans are called upon to provide close protection for government officials, members of Congress, high ranking officers or threatened aid workers. Though well trained in many areas, the demands and goals of executive protection are different from, and largely the opposite of, all other tactical training they have received. This course not only teaches the critical differences between conventional tactical training and EP operations, but provides necessary skills in hand-to-hand combat, weapons disarming, protection team tactics, advance work, intelligence gathering and operations planning.
Counters to Traditional Law Enforcement Defensive Tactics
Based on the training of Russian Spetsnaz units tasked to infiltrate foreign countries. These units study the standard law enforcement defensive tactics and shooting skills of all target countries. Each has studied extensively those systems commonly taught and utilized by U.S. law enforcement. This course provides important information on the vulnerabilities of those tactics used by most American police and military for their own survival.
Improvised Weapons
In many instances, firearms and even edged weapons are not available when responding to a critical incident. Since 9-11, anyone attempting to respond to an attack on a commercial aircraft will face this very problem. Learn the extreme effectiveness of many common, everyday items completely legal to carry on your person in the highest security environments.
Multiple Terrorist Doctrine Training
Prior to the Columbine Massacre in April 1999 law enforcement in America was uniformly trained to never move through an area that had not been thoroughly searched and secured; a slow and painstaking process. Since Columbine and the proven ineffectiveness of the prior tactical approach, the "Active Shooter Doctrine" was developed and every police and sheriff's department in the country well schooled in the necessity of moving quickly to the sound of gunfire. But this new development in law enforcement protocols is only effective in cases where there are one or two active shooters, who remain together, with no other threats to responding agencies. At the Beslan School siege in Russia in September 2004, as with other terrorist sieges before that, numerous terrorists held hundreds of people hostage.

In lightning raids, well trained and heavily armed terrorists take dozens, if not hundreds, of hostages, secure entire buildings, divide into teams with assigned sectors of defense against an attack by police or military. They set up ambushes, booby traps, and entrenched fire positions. All of this renders the Active Shooter Doctrine inapplicable, necessitating an entirely new tactical approach when police and military must move through areas quickly, while being alert to hidden assailants, ambushes and numerous areas in which hostages are held, all the while moving toward the sound of various battles. This course covers steps to be taken when responding to a true terrorist-hostage siege, when to attack and when to secure the scene, how to establish a secure area, how to conduct negotiations, how negotiators and assault teams must work together, in addition to actual planning of an assault and conducting that assault.

This can be taught as an academic course only, or as a combined lecture and tactical exercise scenario program.
Commercial Aircrew Counter-Terrorism Tactics
This course teaches observation and awareness, small unit tactics, weapons disarming, improvised weapons, and hand-to-hand combat, all specific to the close-quarters environment of a commercial airliner. This program has been presented to hundreds of commercial pilots and aircrew personnel since 9-11.
Women's Assault Response (WAR) Course
Reality-based, hands-on instruction, designed specifically for women on how to defend against attacks ranging from simple assault to rape. One-half of this class is dedicated to instruction on the psychology of assailants, victim profiling, counter-surveillance and evasion techniques, and improvised weapons. The tactical section is based on the proven, fighting system of the Russian Special Forces, and produces very effective results using little force.
